First my cat, now my dog. :(

I couldn't stop crying last night before bed. Laying there trying to sleep is the worst time for grief. And this morning...the apartment is so empty with my roomate gone to class. And tonight she is heading to her bf's until late tomorrow night.

She deserves to go see him, and I'm glad that she's going to be able to take her mind off Glory...but it's going to be horrible being here alone. I wish I could invite my sister over to stay with me, but she's with her bf too.

It's only 9am in the morning and already I'm a wreck.

Damn, I feel sorry for you having to live in that empty house by yourself. I wish there was something that I can do to cheer you up. But I know that you can pull through.

I'm so sorry Faded. Losing a pet is always hard. I deal with this almost every day, we've been losing alot of good patients to old age and bad health problems. But always remember those good times you had with Glory. You made a tough descion but the right one, especially if her quality of life wasnt the greatest. *hugs* Just remember she not in any pain any longer.

I dont know how you do it every day, kC. I wanted to be a vet when I was a kid...until my first pet died. Then I knew I could never handle it.

So instead...I opt to become a nurse, LOL.

It's tough but in the end we all know it was the right thing to do.

And you're brave for becoming a Nurse. It's one thing if an animal shits on me but I'll be damned if a human does it! And all that bitching! hell no, I'd rather get bit by a giant dog.
