Wow! REALLY! :redface2: What i was trying to say is:

There are 31 super sentai series (without Go-onger), 18 Kamen Rider series (with Kiva), 23 Ultra series, 3 Chousei-shin series, 17 Metal Hero series (if you count robotack and kabutack on them), in a total of 92 series besides those countless shows that we can say that are tokusatsu and are not part of any popular franchises. So, we have something like 200 series. By that, it seems ridiculous to me that someone could really have seen all of them and, as far as I can tell with sure, you watched those from your signature and from your avatar, Boukenger and Dekaranger.

I don't have to know any other fucking series that you saw, I was just saying that if you don't wanna watch Gekiranger, to go see one of them if you didn't. C'mon, I was being nice and you was a modafuka!!

Yeah. I'm up to ep.6 and each ep has put me to sleep. I'm not trying to be an asshole (I just naturally am one). Thus far I do like the male and female lead villians. Hate that stupid fly that comes out to give blow by blow of the mechs fighting (surprisingly I do like the mechs design).
I had watched episode one when TV-N first released it way back when, and I still think the fight choroegraphy sucks now as much as when I watched the first time. I've been watching kung-fu and Karate flicks since I was a little kid, and it's actually the main reason I got into Toku (what martial arts fan could resist costumed heroes fighting in Sonny Chiba style action?). What's going on here is a very undynamic dance choreography with a mix of Tai-chi Chuan. Nice for forms but boring here. Way too much high-wire as well which I dislike especially when it's not done well which is the case here. The introduction of the 5 Deadly venoms mob rip-off was cool, but they did nothing with it, or at least nothong yet and nothing worth talking about. Check out the "Sword Stained in Royal Blood" episode one in my Vicnuts Toku Uploads thread for a recent example of how this should have been pulled off right.
I still dislike the three rangers. The costumes look cheap, the helmuts bland. Too much of the "gym clothes" look for my taste, even though I know that's what they're going for. Of the characters themselves theres just nothing there that seperates them from the pack. Hard to say anything after only 6 eps. but no one here makes say "Yeah, I need to see more." I am going to keep watching though......

For me, comparing Dekaranger and Boukenger, I'd say Dekaranger was funner to watch than Boukenger. Dekaranger had episodes worth rewatching, because like what ForeverRed said, it's like a weekly police drama series. As for Boukenger, the first 20 eps were exciting, but after Eiji made his entry as BoukenSilver, the series went downhill with fewer interesting eps.

Gekiranger may have the annoying Jan like Dekaranger had Ban, but I think it's slightly better than what I've seen in Boukenger. Of course, I still don't like Gekiranger that much and I don't take the entire series seriously (except the final story arc which is totally AWESOME!).

I'd say check out Go-onger when it premieres, I see a whole lot of new potential in that series. (NOT including their horrific mecha) :thumbs: :laugh:

Definitely would have to agree, but unlike you, Jacky-boy, I take the Gekirangers very seriously. I actually liked the Boukensilver arc and the two parts to Natsuki's revealed past and the episode where Sakura tried to get a ring from that snobby tv actor and Akashi's bad luck. But the other episodes to Boukenger were bleh.

Yoda, I made a mistake when replying to your first post (in a jokingly and more than civil tone) accidentaly thinking you were suggesting I watch those shows because I hadn't heard of them. My reply to simplify it for you was merely meant to say "I've been watching toku for along time, so yes I know of these shows". You replied again with a nonsensical quip about my avatar. I think if you reread it yourself you'll see that it makes no sense other that to point out that I have no Sentai sig. or Av.
Well, it looks like you've gone and done a lot of research to try to prove something, I'm just not sure what. I'm not even sure what you're over-reacting too. I think you were reading between the lines and found something that wasn't there. As far as who's acting like what I think you should reread the posts, especially yours.

I actually had not finished ep. 5 and must say it ended very well. I really enjoyed the whole battle on the beach sequence (the reason for fist hitting and so on was cool). Ep. 7 was fun too. The final battle with gekiblue and the green dude was nice, reminded me of the scene from Garo where they're fighting down the side of a Skyscraper. Expected a little more out of these 5 Venom cats but we'll see.
