Favorite British Comedy TV shows

[Barom 1]

:sly: No one watched the young ones? Not only was the show entertaining but they also had some decent musical guests, like motorhead and madness, even alexei's doc martin song :buttrock:

Another entertaining brit-com was comic strip, which featured several members of the cast from the young ones, as well as sanders and french from ab fab.

Well I can't name ALL my faves but yeah Young Ones rules.

*drinks vyvs formula that turns people into axe-wielding manics and chases after rider knight*

Bambi, a great episode, especially when bambi wouldn't let neil leave to go to the bathroom.

And what a great pet SPG was, so nice, cute and sweet. :169:

LOL! Yeah! Something Patrol Hamster....god the Young Ones is so brilliant. Remember the one where they all had a cold so to shut (P)Rick and Neil up, Vivian got a bottle of vodka, lit it and it exploded in their room. LOL!

That's the episode sick right? As I recall they put a trashbag over neils head and he kept sneezing in it.

My favorite is bomb, when vyv kept trying to set it off, ric was trying to threaten thatcher with it, mike was trying to sell it to quadaffy and neil made a fall out shelter under the kitchen table

Sigh.....I miss watching the Young Ones.

*finds somewhere to download them*

I watched a couple of episodes in my Media Studies class a few weeks ago, we were studying British Sitcoms.

My personal favorites are Black Adder, Red Dwarf, and a new show called My Hero. It's about an alien superhero who gets married to a human woman. Anyone seen it?

[BorgmanJayce]

My absolute faves are Blackadder especially the 1st two seasons, the Young Ones, Bottom, The New Statesmen [all of which star Rick Mayall who in my opinion is one of the funniest men alive] and Father Ted.

BTW, movie-wise, you guys have to see Kevin and Perry Go Large, Ali G in da House, Guesthouse Paradiso and Johnny English as they're all great British comedy movies...
