Fat man claims White Castle violated the civil rights of fat people & sues them

I'm with that other customer. If you're too big to fit in the seats, then you probably should stop eating burgers and go on a diet.

This^

I love White Castle, but I don`t eat it,or any other fast food, non-stop.

Seriously,it`s not the restaurant`s fault this guy`s a fat-ass,it`s................wait for it...........HIS FAULT!

No.

I think some of you don't understand what kind of eating establishment White Castle is. This ain't Whole Foods or some ****. There is going to be a large number of heavier people eating at a FAST FOOD RESTAURANT. And those people are probably making up a significant amount of their business. I don't think it's too much to ask to accommodate the people that patronize your establishment.

Again, not saying he should sue, and I'm not saying they should be REQUIRED to do this, but this should be common sense.

I know fully well what kind of establishment White Castle is. Which is why I was strongly suggesting that he should stop eating there.

How about if your hair is to long, and I can't see over it at the theater I should tell you to cut it hippie? How about I tell a women that her perfume is to gross smelling and to stop wearing it. I don't think the guy is right to sue, but some of you are just saying really stupid things.:redface2:

This.

All I'm saying is, why would they not want accommodate a group of people that gives them business?

He doesn't HAVE to lose weight, and he doesn't HAVE to stop eating there. Conversely, they don't HAVE to accommodate him, but why wouldn't they? He gives them business and, while heavy, he's not morbidly obese, so what's the problem here? It's not like he can't fit through the door or something.

Or you know, he can sit in a seat instead of a booth. :eyebrow:

I wonder how much hairspray I'd need to make long hair stand up high enough to make watching movies in a theater a problem for others. Not that can do it, I don't even have long hair. Anyway, I digress.

Unlike those though things you mentioned, being overweight is potentially hazardous to your health. He doesn't HAVE to listen to anybody suggesting he lose weight, and given his attitude he already doesn't. It's not an issue for me, because I'm not the one being affected (well, unless he takes off his shirt at the beach.)

I guess my point is, it's his decision. I just happen to think he made a poor choice.

Also, damn, I didn't even know you'd guys take an offhand comment like that so seriously. Jesus.

If he's the only guy complaining then yeah, from a business standpoint, I can understand why you wouldnt spend 5000 dollars in renovations today just to earn that back over 10 years that this guy eats at your restaurant.

Is this how people deal with problems? Lawsuit? >_> Sometimes I hate how people abuse the law system just for something like THIS. :/
