Fallout: New Vegas -TALK UP!

So let's hear it. How are you guys roaming the Mojave Wasteland? What sort of allegiances have you made, what kind of weird weapons have you come across? Have you reverse pickpocketed a guy and put a frag mine in his pants yet?

As of right now, my 10 Perception courier Kivara has established NCR control in Primm, found a laser tommy gun and "Lucky" the .357 Magnum and is going to rebuild ED-E to have some airborne storage capacity and an extra gun.

When I encounter the legion this time around, I'm going to sneak up on them in Stealth Boy mode and just get sneak attack crits to take them out.

I've got just the one snowglobe at the moment, but I'm just having too much fun exploring...that is until I run across the...GODDAMN DEATHCLAWS! SUCK PLASMA!

I'm playing on the 360, so please don't suggest mods.

I'm surprised any one can play this game long enough to say what they think about it with all the bugs it has.

Weird, I've logged about 30 hours on the PC version and run into no bugs at all other then the occasional monster stuck in a wall. And I haven't even patched it yet.

I honestly like the game a lot, but I'm kinda torn on it. The mechanics and gameplay are noticeably better than Fallout 3, but I feel like the story and overall world doesn't have nearly as much personality. It feels like most of the towns are empty and the quests are less interesting than Fallout 3. So it's good but it just feels like the writing got phoned in on it.

Once you get Boone, things go from "Everything wants to kill me!" to "Bring it on! I'll take you all!"

So that means you're gonna need to buy the DLC in order to continue the game then.:redface2:

At this point, I think I'm gonna play the waiting game and get the Game of the Year edition...

Yeah it's a scam to make extra money off the gamers who can't wait for the game of the year edition. (whatever happened to expansion packs?)
