One of the last holdouts in the advertising trend among streaming services is about to give in. Amazon warned it was thinking about adding ads to Prime Video, and it will make do on that threat about a month from now, they announced today.

Oh, great. Just what we needed, more ads. Amazon's decision feels like a slap in the face to loyal subscribers. Paying extra to dodge ads on the regular tier? It's like paying to remove a thorn that shouldn't have been there in the first place. I guess we'll all have to decide if three bucks a month is worth our sanity.

Typical Amazon move. Squeeze a few more dollars out of us while claiming it's for "compelling content." I swear, Amazon Prime is starting to feel like a subscription to a never-ending garage sale. Maybe it's time to explore the competition; there's got to be a streaming service out there that values its customers more than their pocket change.

Oh, what a shocker! Amazon adding more fees? I never saw that coming. But hey, three dollars a month to save myself from the torment of ads? What a generous offer! I'm sure that money is going straight into producing top-notch content. Or, you know, another superyacht for Bezos. Classic move, Amazon, classic move.

It's all about the money, isn't it? Amazon's strategy might be a bit unorthodox, but let's not kid ourselves. Every streaming giant is out here trying to maximize profits. If three bucks can keep them producing quality shows, I'll reluctantly hand it over. In the grand scheme of things, it's a drop in the streaming-service fee bucket.
