Books eBooks or physical copies?

So far, I'm still for real although I use both. I have quite the growing little personal library that I keep organized by color and neatly displayed. Can't do that with my ebooks. And some books are just too beautiful to not have in physical format.

I just got a Kindle for Christmas, which I'm super psyched about - I love the idea of being able to just have the convenience of reading without having to lug around a couple of heavy books. It's also really easy to switch books, without having to use sloppy bookmarks and what not.
Overall though, I prefer physical books. It sounds really weird, but I love being able to feel what I'm reading, if that makes sense. I like holding a thick book in my hands, and knowing I"m going to work my way through it.

I prefer ebooks nowadays since we have easy access on them, also they're cheaper than traditional books and just like you said, it's more convenient and you can carry them around anywhere you go. I still read paperbacks from time to time and I have no plans to get rid of my printed books anytime soon because there's still a bit of homey feel to them when reading traditionally.

If we're talking about convenience, then I'd prefer eBooks. However, I've never used one before, so I'm just choosing and comparing based on what I see outside of my experience. A lot of people like reading hard copies and collecting the books, more like a sentimental thing, and others prefer eBooks just because it wouldn't take up space at home and it's just as portable as when you bring a book with you. I'd prefer eBooks not only because of that, but because if I accumulate enough books at home (like we do now at my father's place), it's just gonna take up space and quietly accumulate dust in the corner, and that would be a problem for my allergies.

Before I tried ebooks and my kindle and reading through the kindle app on my iphone 6, I would definitely say that I needed the physical book in front of me to be able to enjoy reading. But I definitely prefer the ebooks now!

I have tried both and I must say nothing can beat reading a good, physical book. I know it sounds a bit cliché, but it's true. I think that, for those who really love reading, the interaction with the book itself is a good thing. Smelling a new book, carrying it around to read when you fell like it, touching the pages. Looking and touching you favorite book, all worn out from reading it so much, is a very nice thing. :)
Also, I once tried to read an e-book but after a few hours my eyes started stinging and hurting a bit. Maybe I'm just too sensitive to the screen's light. :p
As long as there are physical books in the world, no one will catch me carrying an e-book around. ;)

I much prefer a proper book. Reading is my break away from the computer, so I don't want to be staring at another screen. Give me a proper book any day! Of course, ebooks are "greener", cheaper and take up less space but I still couldn't be persuaded to make the change.

No matter what happens, I would always choose the printed copies. I know that e-books are more convenient like some of you have said but nothing could ever beat the unexplainable great feeling in opening a book. Plus when you finish it, you get to hug it and kiss it and do everything you want with it unlike e-books. You also have this protective feeling when something or someone gets near your books. It's just so satisfying.

eBooks definitely for the convenience of both storage, portability, and interaction (definitions, quotes). but that's not to say I shun physical copies. Luckily, many do, so they're incredibly cheap at Goodwill or garage sales. If I find a bargain, you bet I'll buy the physical copy. Otherwise, I do prefer eBooks for the convenience.

I am one who prefers printed copies. I know they take up more space. But I have always dreamed of having a library room in my home. For some reason, I find it easier as well, to curl up with a good printed book than a digital copy.
