Okay so has anyone been playing this? I picked up the Jap version a couple weeks ago and its pretty damn good. Lots of **** to unlock and plenty of characters/MS to choose from. Pretty broken too, Unicorn, Burning, and Deathscythe exceed everyone else in the game and certain characters like Domon or Milliardo have so much attack stats that I was doing rank 4 missions at Level 1. Biggest improvement is the friendship system, still a pain to unlock characters through it but not nearly as bad as it was in 2. No negative friendship scores this time around. The combat has been slightly changed as well, everyone deals a shitton more damage but your lifebar gradually heals to a certain point when you're not being attacked.

**** I don't like is the level design which has gotten progressively worse in the entire Musou franchise and the MS/Character choices made. Yeah we have a pretty good roster but Schwartz really needs his Shadow Gundam, we need more DLC than just 00 Characters and one Unicorn character (More G, Wing, and X perhaps?), and there are far too many UC grunt suits and almost none of everything else. And missions need to be more than just the same **** over and over again. Oh and cutscenes, there were a ton of them in DW Gundam 1 but this time around we only get a handful of cutscenes and a whole lot of text dialogue.

Haven't tried online mode yet though.

There was akready a series of games like that. ACE, AKA, Another Century's Episode. It's from Banpresto, the same people behind the Super Robot Warts games, but it plays like ZOE. It's a mecha crossover series that has various shows such as Gundam, Macross, Nadesico, Eureka Seven, Code Geass, and even the SRW Originals.
