I might've fudged something, umm well lets see my middle finger on my left hand is a US size 14, and my right is 13 1/2 geeeh sometimes I should just stop posting late at night, also to explain a bit on where I got the screwed up measurement it seems, I checked the little manual leaflet that came with the hurricane dragon ring set I picked up at an anime con in march and the measurement on there is measured in MM so I guess when I looked up what a size 14 ring would be in mm I guess I read the wrong measurement

A ring size of 14 is 23mm. Just look up Ring size on wikipedia, they have a chart that shows all sizes and equivalent measurements. You were measuring circumference, what you needed was diameter.
