He probably took engineering and robotics classes in College. It sounds like he and his buds knew exactly what they were doing. I just love watching it move, almost looks like something from a movie.
The only thing that could have made it cooler then it already is, is if they had found some way to make it be able to safely jump. That would be awesome.
