Ten years ago, Toei released Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Gods in theaters around the world. Picking up where Dragon Ball Z left off, it introduced a new threat after Majin Buu and forced Goku to tap into power levels he’d never achieved before. Now, on the occasion of its tenth anniversary, Crunchyroll and Fathom Events are re-screening the film over two nights next month.

Alright, let's be bluntly honest:

Honestly, Battle of the Gods in Dragon Ball was kind of lame, in my opinion. I mean, Goku losing it over pudding, and Beerus almost obliterating Earth because of it? That's just...yeah, not the most exciting stuff.

And when they brought it back in Dragon Ball Super, that Trunks and Mai thing? Seriously cringe. Trunks, the kid, and Mai, who's way older? Nah, not my cup of tea.

No offense to anyone who enjoys it, but for me, there are way cooler Dragon Ball sagas out there.

I appreciate the update about Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods returning to theaters, but I've already seen the original movie and the television version of this arc. Personally, I found the television version to be much more interesting. I'm looking forward to a new season of Dragon Ball Super for some fresh adventures with our favorite Saiyans! ??

There is a demand for this?

Honestly, I don't see this making much money. People have seen it over and over, and it's far from a nostalgic masterpiece. ?‍♂️
