Personally out of Ten's companions I favor Jackson Lake and Lady Christina.

I really wasn't a fan of most of Ten's companions anyway. I like Mickey though.

Mickey Also gets points for wearing a Shirt with a NES controller on it with the words "Know your History" on it.

And seriously dude, file this one in the "Duh" category.

I picked up Doctor Who back when it was just starting the last season (The "Donna" saga) and was absolutely blown the **** away. 4 hours on Wikipedia downloading information and I was grabbed, hook line and sinker. I've never seen a show that is so good at the comedy and the drama and making every episode so goddamn special.

In the entire 4 seasons I've seen (Which is pretty much all the new stuff, minus one or two of the movies) I have yet to see an episode I have not enjoyed thoroughly. The final episode with David Tennant left me a crying wreck for a good 30 minutes after seeing it, and I still refuse to rewatch it for fear of it happening again. Everything about the series is just so well done. The scripts are well written, the actors are amazing, the effects are one minute delightfully cheesy (The sonic screwdriver is just basically a flashilight with a little noise on it) and wondrously amazing to behold.

There is literally not a single American show that holds a candle to it. None of them come even CLOSE.

Long as they're not RTD's, although he only does a few episodes each season aside from over seeing the entire season. Aside from Moffat's I'm fond of Gatis' screenplays.
