RSR, what I see mostly is that you have trouble saying and conveying your "over-sarcastic humor." You seem to take things that people sincerely ask of you and either completely blow it off or just not understand. In either case, your replies and comments come off in the best case, childish and completely misunderstood/not understood or in the worst case, insulting and mockery. If people call you on your "sarcasm or humor" you simply ignore it or reply with something worse or nonsensical and unrelated. If you're really just being sarcastic or morbidly humourous - use the emoticons - that's what they're here for.
Like others have requested, you need to tone it down and take a step back sometimes. Yes, this is the internet and HJ gives more freedom to its patrons than other boards I've seen; and that's cool. That laid-back attitude where you can just shoot the 'crap', 'vent', 'rave or rant' is what makes this place, but like any community, the rules of society don't go unforgotten. Be sensitive to other people as everyone who has so far replied in this thread has to you, (and I am as well, because there have been times when you have ticked me off royally), but that doesn't mean you're a bad person.
From the past threads you've posted-some useful ones, such as "finding out how life /working visa and stuff outside of one's home country" was a good way to poll and get some info from the people here. Even your "Carebears" Thread was a bit silly, but not completely thoughtless and it did take up relevant topics. You strike me, RSR, as still a bit young and inexperienced in how the world turns, but certainly not a bad person.
And there is merit in keeping true to yourself, and screw what others think of you, but you've gotta remember, you're not alone in this world - in this forum, as it is, and if we all come here to enjoy each other's company and to eat each other's crap as well, there's always going to be a give and take. I don't hate anyone particularly - there are people who annoy/irritate me, but that's what fast scrolling is for. Also, if people would think for .2 secs more before hitting the Post button, a lot of this would be circumvented as well. It's the internet yet, but you don't leave home without a brain - same thing on the forums.
