Disney has officially lost their damn minds

Okay, so they cancel Aaron Stone (Season 3) but manage to order this new series instead...

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Disney XD, a cable channel targeting young boys, is going royal with a series order for the live-action comedy pilot "Pair of Kings."

The series, which will start production in March for a fall premiere, stars "Hannah Montana" veteran Mitchel Musso and "House of Payne" regular Doc Show as 16-year-old fraternal twins (one white and one black). They are typical teenagers in Chicago raised by their aunt and uncle until they find out that they are heirs to the throne of the island of Kinkou; they relocate there to become kings.

Rounding out the cast are Geno Segers as the Royal Secretary, Kelsey Chow as his daughter and Ryan Ochoa as their disgruntled cousin and wannabe king. "Kings" was created by Dan Cross and Dave Hoge of the Disney XD flagship series "Aaron Stone."

Musso, who is signed by Walt Disney Records, was a regular on "Hannah Montana" and might appear on the show's upcoming fourth season, reprising his role as Oliver. He also voices a character on Disney Channel's "Phineas and Ferb." In addition to his co-starring role on "Payne," Show has had a recurring role on Disney Channel's "The Suite Life on Deck."

Disney XD's next series, "I'm in the Band," premieres January 18.

What the ****? Does that even make any sense? God, I thought Disney XD was actually getting somewhere. The sad part is kids would rather watch that garbage rather than a show like Aaron Stone or Power Rangers.

Disney does not know how to run a kids network anymore. It's just that simple.

It angers me because good shows get canned or too "expensive" but they can pay for these unlogical, retarded shows that probably will fail.

Yes but it is still stupid if your making a show geared to kids. What bothers me is okay fine, keep a silly show like that on Disney Channel. Why get rid of other good shows and order these stupid ones instead?

Disney XD was supposed to be about Action and Boy friendly shows. Now all of a sudden they decided the want to focus on comedy shows.

I'm going to give the pilot a shot for no other reason than the creators have delivered some real good Aaron Stone episodes in My Two Stans and Saturday Fight Fever.
