Another day, another episode. The final story arc begins!

I think one of their group dropped out of the project and they were finding a replacement or something. I forget.

The guy who originally started subbing Kakuranger did so under the Hikari Senshi banner. The GUIS folks joined in to help him out but at one point he became completely uncontactable. So after waiting a while they declared him "dead in a bush" and went on without him. That was a while ago now though.

"Our editor is done with the load of work from hell, so Kakuranger is is back in action."

Yeah Lynxara's mentioned in a few different podcasts that the nature of her job means there are periods where it consumes all her time and everything but work has to go on hold for a while. I'm sure she's not the only one who's had IRL stuff though, as all three of the Sentai they're subbing have been held up and Spielvan is still pending a year after it was announced. A lot of these sub groups have the same personnel behind the scenes so when one project starts gaining momentum it's usually at the expense of another. Kakuranger may have slowed down but in the meantime we got Megaranger and Zubat (both well worth watching in case anyone's reading this and hasn't already done so). :anime:

Ah, that explains why I started having to add +H-S to the file names of the last several episodes just to keep them listed in order.

Lol yup. That's the point where they couldn't get hold of him. I hope he's re-surfaced safely since and we don't have some bizarre translator mystery going on behind the scenes.

I must admit I took the lazy route and used a bulk rename utility to remove the "+H-S" from all the existing file names in one swoop so that I wouldn't have to manually fiddle with all the remaining titles. :sweat:
