DIRTY HARRY SERIES - Talkback

Anybody else a fan of these films? I suddently got a huge surge of interest in the films when two nights ago I bought a Walmart exclusive 2-disc set of the first 4 of the 5 part movie franchise for only 10 DOLLARS! It's annoying that it didn't feature The Dead Pool, but I've been wanting the series for a while, so for 10 bucks you can go wrong. I'll buy The Dead Pool another day. :redface2:

The series is so much fun to watch. After watchin all the films on the 2-disc set, two of which I had never finished before, it was sad to see that I enjoyed Clint Eastwood's directorial, Sudden Impact, the least. It was very dry and boring. It started promising and fizzled to a very boring film. But I loved the first two films and I love Clint Eastwood, so I can't get enough of his acting and great one-liners. :169: He's the man. Anybody else love these movies too?!

Love the Dirty Harry films. Much better vigilante fare than Death Wish made all the more enjoyable by Eastwood's quintessential "tough guy" persona. He's the only actor I know of that can be so consistently abrasive and still be lovable.

I think it's the dialogue dude. It's his great dialogue and quirkyness that keeps you lovin him. What's funny about you talking about Death Wish is that the second film, Magnum Force, pretty much deals with ideals against the ideas that Death Wish's plot is all about. Vigilantes.

He like to be tough and break some rules, but not at the expense of people's live. Sometimes. . .
