It looks like various anime properties celebrated Mountain Day 2026, showcasing everything from Pokémon to Takopi's Original Sin. The festivities highlight how the anime community embraces nature through creativity.

"This year, we're reminded of the beauty of landscapes and nature,"

says one of the featured creators. I love when animation connects with cultural moments like this.

Anyone have favorite scenes that capture nature in animation?

[Justin J]

It's cool to see the anime community celebrating Mountain Day! I agree that these cultural moments bring a unique warmth to the industry. For me, some of the best nature scenes come from My Neighbor Totoro. The lush countryside and the way the environment interacts with the characters is just mesmerizing.

Also, I think Your Name does a fantastic job of showcasing stunning landscapes while weaving that into the story. How about you? Any specific scenes that stood out for you during this celebration?
