Diary of the Dead

Hmmm... what difference does it make?

If you think about it none of the sequels have any magnitude on the previous film except that the zombie population increases. I think Diary of the Dead is just Romero going back to the zombie film (with the unimaginative title) but like I said, it really doesn't matter. I don't consider Night, Dawn, and Day a trilogy, nor do I consider Land to be a "sequel" to Day or anything like that.

yes. It is written and directed by George Romero. Rather than showing what life is like after the zombie outbreak, and coninuing as society collapses and eventually re-forms (I.e. the city in Land of the Dead), Diary goes back to the beginning, and follows a group of college kids as they try to make a low budget horror film. Of course, they are out filming when the outbreak starts.

I'm kind of in agreement there, although personally I'm not one of these people that will just eat up anything that George Romero puts out. Frankly I thought Dawn of the Dead was pretty boring and Day was just a waste of time except for the last 15 minutes. I much preferred Dario Argento's cut of Dawn.

I pretty much agree. Dawn had a small story, but day just seemed to be a way for Romero go have a gore fest. Personally my favorite zombie movie is Return of the living dead 1. when I was 12 I begged my mother to let me see it. Scared the **** out of me. I still love it to this day.

Is this an official sequel to Night of the living Dead, Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Land of the Dead?.

It's not a sequel at all. It's not even related, w/ the exception of zombies. Basically, these guys were shooting a movie, which then turned into a documentary about survival from people dying and then coming back to life. Chris Violette is in it(Sky from SPD)

I dunno I just consider them as sequels even though we know they aren't.

So is this flick coming out on DVD soon or what?.

Also, Return of the Living Dead was awesome. BRAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSS

I came out in theaters a few weeks ago. It is a steaming pile. It is best summed up as the Zombie Witch Cloverfield project. A rare miss from Romero:shakefist
