Detroit Lions gets new logo

Apparantly, a new look is needed to help the Detorit Lions. Basically, there's a face and mane on the leaping Lion logo.

The logo's nice, and the uniforms are pretty good, but there's 2 gripes about the helmet:

1: Like the Buffalo Bills, there's too many color stirpes.
2: The black face mask doesn't fit. Heck, a grey facemask would do the job.

What do you guys think.

It's ironic that the football team is as crappy and rundown as the city they hail from (even years before the whole recession).

its not bad at all. the logo is what needed to hopefully help inject new life into the poor franchise. i dont see any differences with the jerseys though.

True, true. But you gotta have love for Detroit. There are so many unknown fun spots there. I love Detroit and it's rundown crappy ways.
