In episode #52 why the heck was everyone targeting Sheema?
The monster Ahames recruited has an opposite energy that combats with Shiima's natural born energy and against Shiima's will, they have the monster feed off of her energy to create attacks and whatnot to finally kill the Changeman (what I thought was neat was that this monster was also the one who helped destroy Shiima's planet). The thing is, if they succeed in killing the Changeman, both Shiima and the monster of the week will die, too. And once Shiima learns that that's the plan, that Ahames & Bazuu are ready to dispose of her so easily, despite being an honorable soldier for the Gozma, that Bazuu's promise to restore her planet was a sham, she gets thoughts of rebelling.
Anyway, Booba strikes Shiima with a maneuver, "killing her," knowing well that she's part of Ahames's plan. And Ahames is furious with Booba, who tells her that he's enough to kill the Changeman, she responds with a threat that if he's not right and he ruined her plan for nothing, she'll kill him, so Booba pretty much decides right there for a fight to death so he can decide his fate, not Gozma. Booba's maneuver put Shiima in a state of suspended animation (he refers to it as death and resurrection) in order for her to be "reborn" as her true self, the affectionate princess of her planet Amanga.
In episode #53 what was Yui Ibuki's story?
He's the last survivor of his planet, Heath, which was destroyed by Bazuu. So, he made it his mission to finally rid the universe of Bazuu. This explains his knowledge of the universe (including the Earth and its Earth Force) and the reasoning behind his harsh training -- he knew what was at stake, what would happen to Earth with Gozma's invasion if they weren't prepared because he and his planet were through it all. The first episode is more meaningful to go back and watch, with the soldiers griping of his gruelling training and how stern and serious Ibuki is -- that was all well planned (Ibuki being an alien
was planned from the beginning).
Also, why the hell did Super Giluke's & Bazuu power up Ahames to a new form to only have the new form "defect" from Ahames?
I don't think being turned into a regular Space Beast Soldier (the name of the monsters of the week) is really a power-up, certainly not to Ahames. It wasn't planned that she separate from the monster, she only managed to do so by her own power and will.
Any reason for her being all giddy & psycho and sacraficing herself in the Changeman Base?
I think Ahames was always on the verge of madness, Bazuu betraying her just pushed her over the line. She was begging Bazuu the entire time to just return her to her planet and make her the queen of it again, Bazuu doesn't show a sign of care and she ends up dying with the Dengeki Base.
How did Super Giluke's get his 3rd form in episode #54?
Super pissed off and injured, he decided to turn himself into a Space Beast Soldier. I think he knew it was going to be a down and dirty final battle, so he took the final step.
Gyodai making the Angel statue grow inside Bazuu and killing him was very very different and I liked that.
Gyodai didn't really kill him, but it did cause Bazuu/Gozmastar to have a weak point. But the statue becoming large and tearing through the planet was more for Changeman to have an out. Change Robo finished off the job by diving into the center of "Bazuu" and doing the good ol' Super Thunderbolt.
It was nice to have Sakura the angel return for the finale (I think she could have returned earlier). Being from the planet Bazuu destroyed first gave more meaning to the final battle.

Liveman's Kempu got wasted. I guess Shougo is still disappointed with that.
He really was wasted, especially after knowing of the supercool final fight between Wanda and Red Flash. Not only getting turned into a useless (and weakly designed) monster of the week, but with Yuusuke being completely absent at the time of Kempu's death. They used to be friends, of course, so I thought there should have been something more personal. Same with Megumi and Mazenda, even though I guess the point there was that Mazenda was long gone with all of the robotic stuff she had implanted in herself.
Toranza and Jin, characters who overall meant less to their series than Kempu meant to Liveman, certainly had better send-offs.
And Basri -- that sig is killer! :buttrock: Nobody messes with Kaura! I'm eager to know Knight's reaction to him...
