Dekaranger Question

I've been marathoning Dekaranger pretty hard this last week and I just got up to episode 37 - the one where Hoji is dating an alien whose brother is a criminal. I thought it started off a little goofy, but by the end it had turned into one of the best ~25 minutes of Sentai I've ever seen. The showdown in the rain, the thing with the traffic light, the silent reunion at the very end... I thought this was all brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I really want to know who wrote this episode, but I cannot find anything about it (I'm sure it's listed in the credits somewhere, but I cannot even begin to slightly read Japanese). Some of it reminds me a little of Toshiki Inoue's stuff, tonally, but it's nowhere near as hamfisted as his standard post-Agito work.

So, basically, does anyone know the name of the writer for this episode? And, for that matter, the name of the director? I'm really curious to see who was behind this one.

That was the one stand out episode of Deka for me.

i love that episode!! Dekaranger suffers from lack of plot and continuity but at least they have standalone gems like this and the episode when Umeko dies.

Yeah, I just watched that one last night. The first seven or so minutes were amazing. The parts that didn't have Umeko in them weren't as good, but I tend to find that true of most episodes.
