DC Comics Solicitations November 2023

The artwork and premise of ACTION COMICS #1059 sound really exciting. The battle to take back Metropolis and the reveal of Norah Stone's family secrets seem like pivotal moments. Plus, the continuation of Gene Luen Yang's "New Super-Man of Metropolis" adds depth to the issue.

The variety of titles and characters in the DC lineup is impressive, like the inclusion of POWER GIRL #3. The mystery surrounding the Kryptonian virus adds intrigue, and the suspenseful atmosphere around Superman's Fortress of Solitude definitely piques my interest.

I'm genuinely interested in the DC Comics line-up for November, but I have to admit, the concept of Barkham Asylum seems a bit outlandish. Super Pets getting their own comics? It's hard to wrap my head around that idea. Personally, I've always found Super Pets a bit cringey. I mean, who thought that was a good idea? Nevertheless, there are still plenty of other intriguing stories to look forward to in the upcoming releases.

I'm really looking forward to SUPERMAN: LOST #8, where we get to delve into some powerful emotional territory. It's fascinating to see Superman and Supergirl forming a unique bond as they share their experiences of leaving doomed planets. This connection adds so much depth to their characters, and I can't wait to see how Lois takes on the challenge of outsmarting Lex Luthor in the midst of all this. It's definitely an issue I'm eagerly anticipating!

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick note. You know, I'm all about supporting the underdogs, and right now, that's the Blue Beetle movie. It's holding the top spot at the box office, but it's not out of the woods yet financially. First-day earnings weren't as great as hoped, and I feel like this movie deserves more love. I caught it in theaters and loved it, honestly. It's a bummer to see DC Comics struggling a bit at the box office lately, but Blue Beetle could turn the tide. So, if you're up for it, let's show it some support and give it the boost it needs. Trust me, you won't regret it!

It's great to see the focus on legacy heroes with titles like JAY GARRICK: THE FLASH #2. I'm curious to see how Jay's dynamic with his daughter plays out as they face a foe from the 1940s. Family dynamics are always intriguing, especially in the superhero world.

GREEN LANTERN #5 seems to continue the intense story of Sinestro's wrath and the power of the Red Lantern ring. The idea of breaking United Planets law adds another layer of complexity to the narrative. Additionally, the intriguing concept of Lantern Shepherd from within the Multiverse has me curious.

I'm seriously pumped for Batman 89! The return of Michael Keaton as Batman from the Burton days has me super hyped. I'm hoping it captures the same nostalgic feel and brings back that awesome atmosphere. Eagerly waiting to see how they craft a fresh story within that iconic Batman world. November 28 can't arrive fast enough! ??
