Damn tbs, you got eyes like a hawk....

Tokyo Broadcasting Station took down a little video clip I had on Youtube of a Kamen Rider reference in the anime Amagami SS.
Seriously, copyright infringement they claimed.
Seriously?
That makes me really sad.
I mean, it's not like I was putting up the whole show, it was a short minute and a half clip.
Has the internet become that bad.

it's those haters again..

on teh other hand...they noticed me, so maybe I can use this to just f@ck with them.
Make like 50 accounts and upload a bunch of their shows.

They have every right to take down things they own. The above comment is just a douchy thing to do. Just make a new video or something and learn from this.

I don't have a problem per say, it just seemed odd.
I mean, I see dozens of people uploading full shows and I do think they have every right to take them down, and yes they have every right to take down my video.
But the point is, with those guys it was commercially (I hope I use this word right) acceptable, they want their show to be shown where they want. But I just had a clip that, at best, was promoting it (and that's a strong assumption).
It makes them seem like jerks.

And I would cause chaos for anyone, just ask 4kids concerning the clusterf@ck of letters sent asking why they feel the need to rape my childhood.
and yes I mean actually letters.
Print media will never die, but the trees might.

Also, you sir are missing the point.
What I was saying was, has everyone become so protective of their properties that anything unsanctioned by them is considered a threat.

I have to ask.. Why did you send letters to 4kids?

but doesn't it seem extreme to go after even the smallest instances?
I guess I don't have that business mentality.
It does make sense in a warped way, what with the internet being what it is and people being the nonpaying jerks they are.
I suppose I'm just being naive thinking its a bit much to try and censor anything that's not connected to them.

I think it's because its a japanese corporation that's doing it that I find odd. Usually they (japanese creators in general) seem pretty lax, so them going this far just kinda was weird for me.
