I respect what you're saying, Tokuraws.

But it's not that my belief in him is shaken. Hell, I don't know the guy, and I don't claim to. I just don't like that people are all, " He's a pervert and his comic sucks because he brought a real life crisis into it."

Ahh. I'm not going to argue about it anymore. And I'm not mad or upset. Just...feh.

Yahtzee is a guy who rubs people the wrong way ON PURPOSE. He is paid not so much to review a game as to rag on it and bury the game in **** before pissing on it's grave. Even in his review of Bioshock and COD4, both games he admits he liked, the majority of his reviews consist of him talking **** about the game. No one would watch him if he was like any other reviewer and wrote simple summaries of the game. People, even me, watch him to tear a game a new one.

You however don't make funny, animated reviews for everyone so you being a douche is probably not for satire's sake but for the sake of trying to be a wannabe Bolt or Z-Unit. They pull off the "lovable a-hole" much better than you. Mostly because they're lovable.

I won't even reply to your insults and attack. I will just use the little "report post" icon.

Ah well. There are going to be people who hate CAD from now on, and there are going to be people like Faiz and I, who stick with it.

I'm not going to spoil your enjoyment of the strip, I have too much respect for you to do so, but my interest in CAD was on the wane long before the controversial "miscarriage" strip. The strip has tried too hard to be like Penny Arcade (of which I'm still a big fan).

But CAD IS better than the blatant PA ripoff, Movie Comics, which has disappeared from the Internet (even though I have a good amount of strips saved)!

See, its funny, but I started reading PA first, and then CAD soon after..and I have ALWAYS liked CAD better than PA. I don't know why. But it's all a matter of personal opinion I guess.

Movie Comics was the ****. Miss that comic. Its terrible those guys broke up. Breeze or whatever left and then the comic stopped. Furious or whatever his name was became one of those conspiracy nuts. Emailed me about his forum and everything. I was like "whoa.. ok...?"

That's what it boils down to. It's just personal taste. At least you have good judgement, unlike a lot of other people.

OK, that's bizarre . . .

I will admit that a lot of the stuff they did was pretty funny! But I'm surprised that it canceled so suddenly. It was a very controversial strip, I remember.

If Movie Comics is the one I'm thinking of, I thought they were pretty cool, too.

I've always liked CAD, and never really understood the seething hatred it receives on a regular basis. It's a fun read.

and that's cool. like ryuusei said, i respect you and faiz and everyone else too much not to let you guys enjoys the comic, it's just that i've met the guy and i've never liked him since day one. to tell you the truth, the webcomics i read are all gone and are over now. punks and nerds, and the last days of foxhound were some of my faves, but alas are gone.
