Alright, I've been trying to figure out how to make custom ringtones for my new Samsung SGH F266..but no luck so far. I tried google and my searches have come up with nothing, so I could really use some help here.

I tried a bunch of different ways, including using a program called Quick Media Converter but it's not going well so far, any help will be appreciated!

Bit of an update with this.

Misfist, I did try what you suggested and put in a MicroSD card...and it did have an "Use as Ringtone" Option...HOWEVER

It needs to be a DRM in order for it to work...is there a free converter program that I can use out there?

People usually want to convert from DRM to MP3, not the other way around. Put in really simple terms, a DRM file is like an MP3 with special coding, which in this case was probably deliberately done by Fido so that the only MP3 files you can have as ringtones on your phone are the ones you buy off of their website.

It's like they're saying, "Sure you can have MP3's as ringtones on your phone, but they HAVE to be 'Fido-brand' MP3s." It looks like it's they've set it up so that regular, plain, 'unbranded' MP3s won't work on your phone. My guess is that you might have to risk flashing/unlocking your phone if you want to be able to use MP3 files that are not DRM.
