ive yet to see the last season of BSG 4.5 and finish the last 2 eps of Children of Dune....somehow both seems so familiar with eachother with the talk of prophecy and messiah, and dune world not allowing robots due to a past war with robots...

again this is the re-imagine BSG and Sci-Fi Dune series...

in regard to the topic, i was reading about how Dune doesn't allow robots etc to be made due to a war between man and machine before the events of Dune. Plus all those prophecy, religious fanatic, politic etc theme seems to mirror one another...

No it's not especially since you know the whole point of Dune was that humanity had become a feudal galactic empire.
