Commercials - Love/Hate relationship.

What commercial do you love the most? Which do you hate?

Provide explanations and Youtube videos when available.

There is this Multigrain Cheerios commercial that I LOVE.

An ENGLISH husband and wife are sitting down to breakfast, and the husband notices that she's eating Multigrain Cheerios. He asks her if she's trying to watch her weight, and she responds with, "No, why?"

He goes on to say, " Nothing, it's just the box says it's low in fat."

And she says, " Do I look like I need to watch my weight?" They begin arguing, and he realizes he's in the dog house, as he's pointing out all the nutritional value on the box. At the end she says, " What else does the box say?" and he says, defeated, " The box says shut up Steve."

I LOVED this commercial.

Until they RUINED it by dubbing over the couple with AMERICAN accented voices. Now it's fucking ruined for me and I hate it. I can't find the British version, but here's the American version:

Multi Grain Cheerios

Another commercial I love is the new "Olivieri Pasta and Sauces" commercial. Mmmm...sexy pasta.

I also like the Razor commercial of the man and woman 'fighting' in the subway, cutting each others clothes off...cause those two are HOT. I actually think the chick is WAY hotter than the guy, and I wouldn't mind having a little one on one with her.

I also like the Whiskas Man-Cat commercials.

I can't think of any commercials I hate at the moment other than that stupid dubbed over Cheerios commercial.

Commerical that I loved: The Red Stripe commericals with the guy in the sash. "Red Stripe is BEER! HOORAY BEER!" I don't even really drink and I hate the taste of beer but I totally loved this one everytime it came on.


Commericals that I despise (not a complete list by any stretch.):

Anytime the same commerical is run less than 2 minutes after it just aired or the exact same commerial comes on everytime a show goes to break.

Any commerical/trailer/ad for some damn horror torture-porn flick.

Anything by the Ad Council or Truth ever made. The total, unrestrained pretentiousness of these ads overshadows any real message they're trying to convey. Not to mention the ads are always very ill timed in relation to what programs they are put on with. Say you've just enjoyed a hilarious moment from your favorite sitcom and then BAM! Spousal abuse in your face! Well thank you, you've made my evenings entertainment sooo much more meaningful now that you've sucked all life and joy out of it.

Sex text-messaging ads. Quite possibly the lamest thing man has ever come up with in the history of sex itself.

J.G. Wentworth ads. Not only do I not trust any of these sort of "cash adavance" type entitie's, but this dude is Satan. Creeps me out everytime.

Definitely agreed with the Red Stripe comments. This and this are my two favorite commercials so far. Annnnnd this

Me too! No one ever believes me though, they think he's a nice old grandfather type.

I used to love the taco bell commercials with that talking dog

I also love that Trix commercial where that rabbit NEVER EVER gets any, no matter how hard he tried. And afterwards, those spoiled little kids would say "Silly rabbit, Trix's are for kids".

Oh I remember, there was this jewellery commercial where we see shadows of a man and woman being intimate and showing off the latest jewellery at the time. And there was this classical music playing in the background. THat was pretty erotic.

I also like that beer commercial where all the guys in the bar would say "beer, beer, beer, bottles of beer, beer, beer...." or something like that.

I also like that Narf (Is that how you spell it) toy commercials where we see kids shooting each other with toy guns. Also, I love those Super Soaker toy commercials, although I think they should've replace the boys with hot-looking girls when they're soaking each other with water.

That's all I can remember for now, but those were great. I can't hate a commercial now because I hardly watch any television.

nahh that right there is. Best furniture commercial ever.

I like that one phone comercial where some guys are sending pictures of there camping trip, and then the girl says

"But then it stopped with this...blurry one"

And at the campsite, you see a bear pawing at the phone and the two guys in the car

As for ones I hate?
That one cheese comercial, where the family starts singing. I didn't mind it at first, but then it came on so much I started to hate it
And also the Life cereal commercial, where the girl wants to have some of the boy's cereal, and she starts offering him stuff. Ugh, it was cute at first but then it came on so often it killed it.

OMG DARK KABUTO I HATE THOSE CHEESE COMMERCIALS WHERE THE FAMILY SINGS!!! Seriously!!! I want to break my eardrums when I hear it!

I also love: The Geico gecko commercials. Whoever does that Gecko....can I marry him? <3

However, I HATE the caveman Geico commercials. HATE.
