Chen Guokun is Bruce Lee!

I really hope the mystic angle is pushed on this. As much as I wanna see the legend of Bruce Lee, I remember that in "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story", some of my favorite fights were when he battled that inner demon and curse.

Which even tho he beat it, both he and his son fell. :(

I was so mad when Brandon died.... I'm still in denial.

Anyway, I hope we get to see some shades of Chinese mythology and Bruce kickin' ass against both the mortal...................... and immortal.

The fact that it's another Chinese corporate money-magnet designed to cash in on Lee's popularity with overdramatized fabrications and lackluster fights that don't even exemplify the man's own beliefs. C'mon people, Bruce Lee's life was not that interesting... if they made a factual, faithful adaptation, no one would want to watch it. And I for one, no matter how invested in martial arts and HK cinema I am, will not sit back and jerk it to all these faux-tributes that are designed solely to appease the average A.D.D. popcorn viewers with no stock in his legacy (no offense). You want to pay tribute to the man? Watch his movies; buy his books; write Linda a nice letter... retellings? We don't need no stinkin' retellings!

Ah... I see. I do see what you're talking about, but alas deer Bolt... those are no good reasons except for holding to snobbery.

I'd jerk it to all the above and revel in the overblown joy that was the legacy of the Bruce Lee Legend and what to have fun and celebrate it.

I do have the Tao of Jeet Kun Do, so I enjoy his actual philosphies, but there's a glowing part of my soul that does wanna have fun worshipping the larger than life version of him that exists in the hearts and minds of a lot of martial art fans.

You're poo-poo'ing over this for the sake of it man. Gotta loosen up that bunghole and relax sometimes.
