Cheaper by Dozen is a modern reimagining of The Fox IP of the same title. Now that Disney owns Fox, Not only do they get to reclaim the X-men and Fantastic 4, They can also use all previous IPs owned by Fox.
 
The original film was from the 1950s and depicts a family with 12 children. Which is actually a norm back in the 1950s. My grandparents have lots of siblings while most couples these days have 1 to 2 children.
It is based on an autobiographical book of Journalist Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr. Who grew up in a family of 12 siblings.
In 2003 it got a remake with the legendary Steve Martin. That film launched the careers of Tom Welling ,Hilary Duff and Alyson Stoner. The 2003...
