Change...Dung Beetle!

Sigh...
Well, after realizing that I bash on a show I never fully watched all of, I decide (against all logic) to go back and re-watch Kabuto.
I'm up to ep.15 now.
And I'm surprised to say, I forgot how much I liked it!
See, my problem with Kabuto was always the story. It just got out of hand and plot holes started to pile that eventually I just started watching Den-O.
But re-watching the series made me realize how much I do love the characters.
Tendou is just a bad ass. No two ways about it.
And I'd take Kagami over Ryoutaro any day.
But as I descend deeper into the madness, I start to remember that eventually, it'll all be in vain.
And that just pisses me off more.
Dammit it Kabuto, why did you have to start out so good.
Why did you keep up with an intriguing story and spectacular fights all through the early episodes.
Why!
...
So yeah, I'll summarize it all when I finish but for now.
Tendou=Awesome
Tendou's sister=joining Shizuka as most underused character that deserved better.
Hiyori=female I want to backhand
Kagami=manliest rider ever
TheBee=ZaBee, I think everyone just pronounces it wrong over here.

Shoji Yonemura and Toshiki Inoue are possibly horrible in terms of organizing a storyline together. Yonemura just happens to be great at making individual episode arcs........if you tell Yonemura to write a 2 episode story arc, he'll end up giving you the best 2 episode story ever. Now when it comes to writing a 47-50 episode series, Yonemura isn't that great. It was evident in the Kabuto series, as well as towards the end of Kamen Rider Decade.............Yonemura will write great "2 episode" story arcs, but he doesn't know how to connect together storylines beyond 2 episodes.

We don't even have to explain Inoue's flaws.........the Kiva series pretty much shown how much Inoue fails @ organizing an actual story.

I still love the Kabuto series, but Yonemura doesn't know how to write a big storyline if his life depended on it.........the man is only good @ writing a damn mini-series from my experience.

Don't worry because alot of idiots here do it too.

At least I'm attempting to be a better person by watching it.

Oh look here comes Sasword.
Seriously what were they smoking with his masked form.
It is the thing of nightmares.

I agree on the Yonemura and Inoue things.
I've learned never trust Inoue, but I haven't watched watched too much of Yonemura's stuff (Or I have and just didn't know it) but considering how I loved Decade until Amazon I guess he does okay.

I think Inoue's biggest fault is his ability to create a huge mystery, and then f@ck it all up by writing himself into a corner.
And then they use the bullshit, "oh well it's just a kids show so we don't need to explain" line to excuse themselves from solving anything.

Yonemura only wrote the Blade, Hibiki, Black, Amazon and Rider War episodes though.

Well, if you look @ each of those episode arcs..........they were good on their own. With the Blade episode arc being the least greatness out of all the Decade episodes written by Yonemura. Aside from that, Yonemura has never consistently found a way to connect all of his episode arcs together, hence why Kabuto had the plot holes that it was left with........and hence the reason why we still don't know the exact placement of "All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker" in the Decade storyline (Yonemura also wrote the Decade movie).

Even though I didn't finish the series yet, Inoue did a good job with the whole "mystery" thing when he wrote Agito. Sadly, I believe Agito sucked the creative juices out of Inoue from that point.

But that was years ago.
You'd think he would have...I don't know, drank the water from the spring of the drowned writer or something.

Now that I know which arcs Yonemura did, I can honestly say he is awesome. Those arcs were very well done, even though Amazons was messed up by that punk and the kid, I still liked the story.
And Hibiki's arc is my favorite.

And what's this about not knowing All riders place?
Unless Yuusuke and Natsumi were with Tsukasa in the past, I'm pretty sure it's after the series.
Or is it possible it's farther in the future or soemthing.

Yonemura has done nothing to point that out yet.........I hope the December movie does serve that purpose though, considering Yonemura is also writing it
