According to Variety, the film rights for Konami's vampire-slaying franchise have been snatched up by Paul W.S. Anderson of Resident Evil fame. According to the report, Paul and Crystal Sky president Benedict Carver will produce along with Anderson and Jeremy Bolt, who are partnered in Impact Pictures. The game will focus on the rise of the Belmont family, who stand up to destroy Dracula and in so doing save humanity. The movie will begin production in mid-2006. So who would you have play Simon?
