Cartoon Network in Trouble

OMG! thier even smaller than I thought, I was pickturing something the size of an actual road sign.... this IS retarded. and I never actually thought Turner was gonna shut down CN I was just reporting everything I'd read and heard thus far when I made my first post.

This is just insanely stupid, way to overreact America! yay us ... :redface2:

But brilliant ad campaign, aside from the "controversy" I thought it was nice - and besides, people are talking about the movie/characters/adult swim now tho right? So it worked.

Although I hear Turner Broadcasting will have to pay out the ass in "Damages". That sucks.

I will say this:

one way or another, bad or good, all eyes are on [AS]. Just like Borat before it, bad or good, it's got people talking and now more people will be morbily curious about [AS] or the ATHF movie.

Well, AS still got the publicity they wanted, AND more. So this should be all worth the cash payed.

I'm sure this will appear in a new episode of Aqua Team pretty soon.

They should have done what Paramount did for the DS9/TOS ep.... Leave thousands of plushies on public transportation systems (subways, buses, trains). Lots of cute little plushies everywhere.

What annoys me about this topic is that every time it comes up (although blessedly, not as much here) someone says either "Boston is morons!" or "Americans are dumb!" The fact is, any city would have reacted this way to a bomb threat. They HAVE to.

The idiocy comes from pursuing criminal charges after they were revealed to be god damn lite-brights. Clearly it was an overreaction not designed to scare anyone. Time to move on.
