Yeah, we just had to be there way early for sound check and other such things. I suppose could have taken the 5 to the 55, but it seems like a more roundabout way of getting there from Pasadena. There's no real direct way of doing it, but I don't trust the 5 on a Saturday.

you're right about that again hehe. don't trust the 5 on a saturday? or don't ya mean every single day? lol. cuz i very well know that once in awhile they shut down the entire 5 goin' NB (somewhere around teh 710 or 10) during the night.

Yeah, I had one time I was attempting to get back to Pasadena from Irvine in the middle of the night via the 55, 22, 57, 210 way... I may have missed a couple numbers in there, but every single time I tried to transition to a new freeway, the ramp going the direction I wanted was closed. So I would have to go the wrong direction, get off at the next exit and get back on going the right way. Took forever. :laugh:

& lemme guess, that wasn't on a weekend night right? it mostly happens during weekday nights. & it's a real nightmare when that happens. but the good thing is, i haven't encountered somethin like that in a while. cuz back then i used to get lost a lot when gps' were hardly used (not that i'm using one nowadays, lol). i just know my way around more now & i think i can live without using one.

I live in Pasadena, so I rarely get that far West unless I have something specific I'm doing there. Nice area from what I remember, though.
