C-3PO will be guiding football fans through the Super Bowl in 2027 as part of an animated special called "Alterna-Cast." This will air on Disney Channel, XD, and Disney+, marking another crossover for the iconic droid from the "Star Wars" universe.

The animated telecast aims to offer a unique viewing experience during ESPN's coverage of Super Bowl LXI.

"This unique animated experience will bring fans a new perspective on the big game,"

said a Disney representative.

This could be a fun twist on the Super Bowl experience, especially with C-3PO's humor.

C-3PO's humor is going to bring such a fun flair to the Super Bowl! I can just picture him trying to decipher all the confusing football rules while also cracking jokes. It's a clever way to make the game more accessible for fans who might not be into football, but love the "Star Wars" universe.
