picked up my copy at the midnight release of the game over at EB. Nice little line there too, I was surprised how many people showed up for it in my little town.
yeah I'm level 32 right now, Blood Elf paladin. I freaking loved the starting areas for the Blood Elves. The Draenei starting area and City is kind of dull in comparison. Silvermoon city is breathtaking.

I would be 40 already had I continued to grind hardcore. I just dont want to go nuts and burn myself out on the game so soon. I got a lot to look forward to. I've been getting at least one or two levels a day but the grind is terribly boring. I mean really boring. I've developed some impatience for quests. I did all the quests I could find in Eversong and Ghostlands, but after that I just began grinding on the monsters without quests. Been doing fine and it goes by fast. But damn is it boring.
Don't know how I'll make it from 40-60.
About PvP, I mean you just got to suck it up as a mage. For one, their silence only lasts 1-2 seconds max then it's on a cool down. It shouldnt be pwning you that bad. I have a level 60 undead mage and I cant imagine having more of a problem with Blood Elves than I would with any other race.
Shield yourself before the match starts, that's rule number one. They do the silence, wait the 2 seconds out since your shield will protect you. When it's up, Frost Nova, Blink, Frost Bolt-Frost Bolt-Frost Bolt!
Not to mention if you're level 60 and frost specced (like me), you have a water elemental buddy to help you out. Though it doesnt sound like you are 60. You're probably in your 20s or 30s.
So when the duel starts, just remember to try putting up a Magic Shield, frost nova them, and keep your distance. Their Mana Drain is on cool down too, so it shouldnt be a problem. Brind mana potions if you have to.
