Bolt is calling him out. It needs to be addressed, if it's true.

Say you have family that owns a store. Say they have a guy that owns a shop next to them. That other guy plugs his electronic equipment into the outlets of your families store. Your family doesn't know about it. All they know is that their electric bill has doubled. That other guy is Stealing from your family. That is what Hotlinking does.

QFT. I'm thinking that the mods are being lazy to remove the hotlinking links.

Y'know a post like that one really pisses me off. I for one can say that my free time is extremely limited. It's damn near impossible for me to check thru every thread looking for hotlink violations. If it's a damn near universal rule that "Hotlinking is bad" then you, as the posters on this forum, should guess what... Not Hotlink to other sites! We're a growing community but the we're not huge. If anyone does hotlink and someone notices, then as Keith said... point it out to said poster or alert a mod.

Keith, can I re-open this? I'm willing to listen to suggestions from the others as long as it's done in a civil manner.

I understand the concerns some of you have, but really...what are we supposed to do...police every single thread and every single post for hotlinking?

For the record, yeah... Bolt's actual message was civil enough, but he had to see how far he could push it by naming the thread, "Keith's Bullshit Calls..." and no... I won't stand for that.

Again.... lack of the rule isn't laziness. It's that I hated how posters were treated when the rule was in place.

It's not about "my way or the high way" or "I'm too lazy to enforce justice." :rolleyes2:
