BoJ re-released Heisei DX Rider Belts?

Forever Knight

Eye See You
A quick question, I was watching the KR Decade conference and they showed a small commercial with the DX DecaDriver and they said something involving the other DX Rider belts.

Now does this mean that Bandai plans to re-release all of the DX Belt from Kuuga to Kiva for the Decade run?.

Nothing definite yet, but they are re-releasing the lower-priced versions from a few years back (Rider 1's & Kuuga's are out so far; they also did V3, Agito, Ryuki, Faiz & Kaixa and will hopefully make some new ones.)

They are also doing new candy toy versions of the Heisei Rider belts, so that's a good sign: DX Henshin items nearly always have a couple cheaper versions being made of them at the same time- Candy toys, Popy cheap toys, etc.

Is this what you're referring to, Iga? They definitely don't seem to be as detailed as the original DX belts (Ryuki's looks especially cruddy). It seems Kuuga's actually lights and spins, I believe that's more than the cheap Popy-type belts can do.

I only had the cheapo Popy-type BLACK belt when I was little. It was basically no better than one of the cardboard belts given away in TV Magazine. Definitely not as cool as the DX ones as seen in every commercial break of Maskman.

Yeah, the pic there shows the Candy Toy ones I mentioned, and for something that's like 3 bucks I thought they actually looked pretty good!

The Bandai lower-priced ones I'm talking about are like this. They originally came out a few years ago, and now they're bringing them back out as "Legend Rider" belts.

They're not quite the DX versions, but they're cheap and still pretty fun. Plus they did a V3 belt (which they will hopefully re-release alongside Agito's) and you don't see that often. And if you're one of those people who leaves stuff in the box, I think they have better boxes than the recent DX belts- small, economical, and they actually show you the damn thing.

Well, the size of that box is misleading! I don't pay much attention to the candy toys, but that box's shape reminded me of the old DX Agito belt's.

That's my plan. I keep things in the box and display it on my Toku Wall. So I'm planning on doing one for Kuuga-Decade tribute.

You wouldn't have pics of these boxes for the Legend Rider Belts would you?. I guess the Legend Rider belts will only go from Kuuga-Den-O?, since Kiva's Belt is still out?.

Yeah, at first I thought that was the design of the display carton all the smaller boxes would be in, but I think it is the actual box for the Kuuga one. Which would make it an odd size.

I'll have to look for some box pics.

Along with Rider 1 & V3, they only ever made Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki (with Knight/Ouja decks) Faiz and Kaixa in this series, but I'm hoping they will make new ones. Also, I just read that Ryuki and Faiz are due out in March.

This got me excited for a second. I've wanted Faiz's belt for so long. That version is kind of...meh... I might still get it anyway if it at least makes the sounds, but it's still a let down.

The one pictured is just a cheapo candy toy, so I don't expect too many/any sounds. There is still a sound version coming out, but it's not the original DX one so it doesn't do everything as far as I know.
