It's pretty fun with a great job system. The story is pretty light until much later in the game, but the exploration and characters make up for that. I agree with you about the music I loved it. You should try blue dragon plus on DS after you beat the original game.

I'm really digging the Dragon Ballish character designs.

I just find it funny that the kids in this game had more balls then the adults. I mean, everyone was like "OH ****! LAND SHARK! RUN FOR THE HILLS!" meanwhile Shu and Jiro were the ones fighting the damned thing.

I got this game brand new for $14 at the local movie store. I have yet to finish it. Last time I played it I just got on the 2nd disc. I took most of the time raising levels for the characters, while I was on disc 1.

I hate the same music is there for the boss fights.

Yes and previews are the best way to judge a game. Forget that playing it nonsense. :laugh:

Blue Dragon is a great game. It's an even better anime! Seriously, check it out sometime. I absolutely loved it. Too freaking bad no one subbed it. >.< and I refuse to watch the DvDs that are edited!!

Anyway, the game can be a little... childish in nature. However if you look past that, you have solid gameplay, very nice graphics, and wonderful music. Ultimately just a great RPG experience.
