Blu Ray questions

Forever Knight

Eye See You
I'm planning on picking up some HDMI Cables and a new Blu Ray Player for my 50" HDTV this coming friday.

Now do Blu Ray Players play regular DVDs aswell? DIVX?, or just the Blu Ray discs?.

Also, if I burn the KR Decade HD episodes to a normal DVDR will it actually come out in HD on my TV screen or do I need some special DVDR to do this?.

How much do Blu Ray Players go for these days and what is the best one?.

Can't answer all those questions, but Blu-Ray players play standard DVDs as well, and they actually make them look better.

I don't think its possible for you to watch KR Decade in HD, but yeah Blu-Ray players do upconvert regular DVDs.

The cheapest Blu-Ray players are probably around $200-$300, not sure which ones are the best as I've only been using my PS3 so far.

Actually, the PS3 is one of the best Blu-Ray players out there! My older brother in PA has it, and it's incredible.

I have a Sony BP-350...this baby below. Picked it up on black friday for $100
