Bioware bans people from forums... and their DLC

Another thing is the game was advertised as spanning 10 years.

From the beginning to end of Varrics interrogation the story told is seven, and out of those seven you actually see only see 3 of those years. The game is just so much shorter then I thought it would be, for 60 bucks I as a customer am not happy.

If this had been a side story in the Dragon Age universe I would have been more forgiving, but they hyped it as BIGGER AND BETTER than DAO. And that is just false.

This all sucks bigtime. IDK whats going through Bioware but it's not good. Ever since they released DAO things have gone downhill fast (Dragon Age DLC, Awakening, Dragon Age 2). Looks like they weren't as perfect as people thought :sly:

It's on Metacritic though, which isn't exactly a good place to get a solid opinion on any game/movie/book/etc. I perused it a while back just to see how many stupid reviews written by twelve year olds were made about my favorite games. All of them had at least one.

Still, I suppose the point is that they're trying to mislead people into buying the game. I was never a big fan of Bioware's games, and this really deters me from wanting to play them.

The unfortunate thing is that for the people who like the kinds of games Bioware makes (or possible made now) they're pretty much the only option. Obsidian was doing some similar stuff but they seem to have gone quiet since KOTOR 2

Yeah they have come out with Neverwinter Nights 2, and Dungeon 3. They also did Fallout 3:New Vegas which was said to be so buggy it was darn near unplayable at launch.

I'd say this is pretty much the reason. EA has NEVER been known for quality gaming, and after their acquisition by them i'm not surprised Bioware has been slowly going down in quality.

A friend of mine referred to the game as having last gen graphics. Of course I thought it was an exaggeration, but upon playing DA2 again, and then playing Ninja Gaiden for the original X-box, I have to agree. Ninja Gaiden looks better then DA2 graphically.

With my complaint earlier I found some other bugs in DA2 that I didn't care for. I'm not gonna go over them though but, I will leave this because I really don't care for how this game was advertised and what I got. I mean importing your data from DA:O is almost pointless.
