I rememeber as it was coming down the pipe and whispers about it... figured it's be alright and forgetable like The Darkness and PREY.

By all accounts... this game is on another level.

I really hope that they can get a PC demo out soon, I still don't know what version to get, so I want to see how it'll run on my PC. I'm pretty pissed with how they handled the whole demo thing, first telling us nothing, then telling us it would come on Friday, then telling us it wouldn't, then telling us "maybe monday".

I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but the whole futuristic apocalypse meets 1960s atmosphere of the demo caught my attention. After getting the full version, this is one of few fps games that i can actually say i love. It's one of those games that simply put, reinvents its genre.

The plasmoids, in the later levels, are very unique. Not that the electric shot from the demo wasn't nice, but theres nothing quite like shooting an army of hornets from your arm.. AS A DISTRACTION before setting someone on fire.

The games lack of multi player is kind of a letdown, but then i realize i rarely bother with multiplayer anyway outside f TN staff and regulars, so i'm not missing much since no one has the game anyway XD. All in all though, an awesome game, it will serve me as a decent enough distraction till blue dragon comes out on Tuesday.

I'm pretty deep into it now. as a story it's top notch as a game...It's pretty good. definetly 2K. but there are subtle...TRICKS to making the game longer. item collection (Like over a dozen items) to make one item to advance the story...and the CAMERA! oh you know your dragging it out when you introduce a Camera to the game. But I like the Big Daddies and the Voice acting is top notch (I'm sure I heard Rene' Auberjonois as one of the thugs)

good game, already beat it and sold it, easily one of the scariest games i have ever played but still a damn fine game, just like unmei i am not the biggest fps fan either but i still enjoyed this game

houdini and possum splicers suck to no end, and also kudos on the voice acting

Bioshock feels like it took the cool elements from games like Prey, Quake 4, etc and synthesized them into a game that rocks hardcore.

LOL, scariest game you've ever played. You need to play some Manhunt kid. This game is incredible. I loved every second of it.
