I thought the animation would be vastly different from the previous offerings because I remember seeing completely set accurate cgi models from the artist. I'm glad they are going to go with the previous designs for the mechanical characters, but the Bara Magnans can be a bit more organic , otherwise they look like beings from the previous sagas of 2001-2008.

Known that for a while because I go on Bzpower.

I hope that LEGO makes a deal with Nick or Disney to make an animated series to sum the past eight years up because not alot of the newer fans know about the essential earlier years of the franchise,and because it would be awesome if executed correctly.

I think the series I'm conceiving of would go for 3 one hour seasons with 13 episodes each.

1. Retro Story( 2001-2003)
2. Metru Nui(2004-2005) + Early 2006
3. The Inika/ Mahri storyline(2006-2007)
4. 2008 storyline
