Better SWAT KATS Intro

I love this Hanna-Barbara cartoon when it was on in the 90's. It's sometimes shown on Boomerang.

So, there's two theme songs to this series; one for each season. Here's Season 1:

Since I was and still am a big fan of Saber Rider's theme, Season 2 is my favorite. The them song is memorable, the characters are less goffy, and the animation as, I admit, a dark anime feel to it.

What's your thoughts?

Im goin with season 1 here. I just like the guitar riff better and it has a more epic feel. But both are great

i gotta disagree... season 2 is when they overhauled everything, including the intro. it gives that feeling that everything that they were doing before was small potatoes compared to this season (they flew to space and kicked the **** out of an advanced alien race with a souped-up F-14 tomcat for crap's sake!). it had a more serious and dark tone, like playtime was officially over.

and that's why i like season 2 alittle bit better.

Gotta agree. While the first season is classic camp and the guitar riffs in the opening for it are rockin', the first half of the opening is... lame. It takes 30 seconds to get to the good part, then it's over in another 30. Give me a whole, kickass intro full of Swat-Kat drama and sweet animation, like the second intro, anyday.
