In terms of acting skills and not based on character,i think Takeru Satoh wins.Any guy who can acts out some many personalities and expressions is not a simple guy.

Based on this alone i happily agree but i always throughly and moreso overall enjoyed Kento Handa's performance as Takumi so i'm going with that.

Hosokawa. Then again, I love the uniqueness of the character written when contrasted with the other Heisei leads.

Shigeki Hosokawa, Joe Odagiri and...feck it, I'll say it, Masahiro Inoue, I love the dude. >_> Oh, and Takeru Sato is pretty great as well.

Other than Joe Odagiri and Shigeki Hosokawa none of the main riders were particularly memorable for their acting, I usually prefer the supporting characters instead. For the purposes of this it has to be Joe, but I gave a sympathy vote to Takayuki Tsubaki for being the prettiest <_<
