Frankly, I think being in the Nolan movie would have more potential to ruin Robin than it would ruin Batman.

and **** Robin hating. Seriously. It's most cliched darkboy crap there is.

Besides, that character has never been done any justice in live-action so how would even know if to would work or not. For one thing they're always casting a damn 20 something year-old to play a character whose ideally supposed to be a kid or at least a young teenager.

The problem with doing a Robin who is actually close to the age he's supposed to be in the comics, is that it would unintentionally draw a lot more attention to the fact that Batman is throwing a little kid at horrible serial killers than you are meant to think about.

There may be a way to make it work but it would be very easy for it to fall into enough uncomfortable pitfalls that I can see why Robin tends to get aged up for live action appearances.

I mean, do we really want Robin being compared to Hit Girl in terms of how uncomfortable their presence makes reviewers/parental groups/etc?

After the movie version of Kick Ass that isn't really the case anymore.

And matt. Calm down. Not everyone likes the character or concept of Robin.
