Best and Worst Kamen Rider Finales

Then Toei certainly made that plot to save money.

...how?

How did that save them any money?

They made an intricate, finely detailed, wonderful looking suit to use for FOUR MINUTES.

They had it since like episode 32 and only used it for a scant few minutes at the very end.

That's a waste of money.

You know why some one would do something like that?

Hint.

Artistic choice. They could have done much more with it, they didn't. They chose to go with their message, their story, to the fullest.

Was it good? Who knows.

I'm not saying it was because I'm not everyone. It's a polarizing choice, what they did. I respect it and I enjoy it because it makes a lot of sense and stays on the hard lines of the themes they had been promoting the entire way through.

That doesn't mean everyone will. That's fine.

You don't have to like it.

I always thought why Kuuga final fight is like that is because they cancel out each others powers, so it ended becoming a fight of just two men and not of the " suit". Which is why big bad devised the twisted game in the first place, so that there will be someone of equal power to him to battle since he is ridiculously uber strong in the first place.

I like Agito's where humanities extinction is suspended for review ;)

For Blade, I always envisioned Hajime and Kenzaki meeting again at the end of a dying world where humanity has died of and the sun is about to explode ;)

As for W endings, we fell slighted because it seems Phillip was brought back to soon but in Wverse a significant amount of time has passed. It was a weakness either in writing or directing that it doesn't feel such to the viewer.

I don't think it was really a weakness. Especially considering that Phillip is sentient data rather than a mortal human being his return is not even all that implausible.

I don't know. Sometimes it feels like people wanted Phillip to stay dead just so they could imagine Shotaro being all grimdark and hunched on top of gargoyles in the rain at night as Kamen Rider Joker or something.

"Futo. This is my city. She speaks to me through the wind. My city. She speaks to me. My city. Through the wind."

"Hey Shotaro are you going out? Could you pick up some-"

"The bastards. They took him from me. Philip. My partner. They took him. Philip. From me. The bastards. My partner. They took him from me. And from my city. She speaks to-"

"Never mind, I'll get it."

Yep, he's the goddamn Kamen Rider.

My opinion?

Worst = Ryuki (Hey! Lets turn back time and make it so the entire series never happened)

Best= Blade, from what I remember, I thought it was really cool how those two Riders had to stay away from one another. I thought it was a creative finale.

Poor Shotaro went a bit crazy after that...

I must admit I found the fight a let down and actually quite liked the epilogue lasting the entire episode. I can't really say why, as I normally hate full-episode epilogues. As for the fight, well yeah I was disappointed that Kuuga Ultimate is on screen for less than 30 seconds. It seemed like a waste of a suit. You see more of the stupid Rising Ultimate suit in Decade than of 'standard' Ultimate in it's own show.
I actually liked the fight. All that angry punching kinda... worked, somehow. But still, Onodera used Ultimate form (both of 'em) longer than Godai did.

....

You guys are just trying to excuse the lack of effort put into Ultimate Kuuga.
Eh, still more effort than Ultraman Tiga's 'Glitter' mode, which was just the regular suit with gold glow. But, it wasn't really an extra form, honestly. Just, a temporary power-up.

Honestly, I'm surprised I've never seen other people make that connection before.
