“Behind Every Star” is a 2022 Korean drama series, with 12 episodes, categorized as Office or Workplace, Romance and Comedy (Rom-Com); and based on the French TV series “Call My Agent!”. The Korean version has been renewed for a Season 2. SUMMARY: In the entertainment industry, all celebrities have someone behind them who works very hard to make them into an A-List star. But those who work behind the scenes often go through a lot of drama too and they aren’t acting. ♦ I Am Going to be an Agent! In “Behind Every Star”, Method Entertainment is an entertainment management company and So Hyun-joo wants to get a job there working as an agent. She has very little experience but is confident if given the opportunity she can do an excellent job. She knows the general director, Ma Tae-Oh. Somehow they are “related” and so she approaches him about employment. So Hyun-joo traveled from Busan to Seoul, full of hope, and did not expect Ma Tae-Oh to treat her so coldly. Wow, this drama sounds amazing! I love a good office drama with a side of romance and comedy. So Hyun-joo is my spirit animal - determined, ambitious, and undeterred by setbacks. I can't wait to see how she navigates the crazy world of celebrity management and maybe even finds some love along the way.

This whole "entertainment industry" behind-the-scenes drama seems a bit manufactured to me. Sure, there's probably some stress and competition, but come on, how much trouble can managing celebrities really be? They get paid a fortune and live glamorous lives. I'll stick to my reality TV, thanks.

I watched "Call My Agent!" the French series this drama is based on, and absolutely loved it! I'm excited to see how the Korean version tackles the same themes and puts its own spin on the story. Hopefully, they'll delve deeper into the Korean entertainment industry's specific challenges. Also, Seo Hyun-Woo is such a talented actor, I can't wait to see him in this!

Ma Tae-Oh's strategy of trying to take the celebrity talent with him is a classic case of self-interest. But the decision by the other managers to buy the company together is a smart move to protect their investment and the future of the agency. I wonder how they'll handle the tax audit - that could be a major hurdle.

I liked the behind-the-scenes even though I don't know how real it was.

Ma Tae-Oh is not a person I would like as a friend because he is too flaky!

The whole idea of managing celebrities is such a wild mix of glamour and stress, right? People often think it’s all red carpets and easy perks, but there’s so much behind-the-scenes effort to keep everything running smoothly. I once got a glimpse of that world during a special event, and it totally changed my perspective. It reminded me of this American Express Centurion Art Basel VIP experience I came across art basel vip events same kind of balance between sparkle and serious logistics.
