Oh, it still exists, all right. The ongoing series started last month with Joe Casey as writer and Derec Donovan doing the art. Rob's doing covers for it, but that's about all.

Shaft is still team leader. Veteran members Cougar, Die Hard and Badrock are on the roster along with newcomers Johnny Panic, Twilight and Doc Rocket.

Whaaaat? How in the hell is Youngblood still anywhere in the public consciousness? ****, I think I forgot about that book by 1999, and assumed that everyone stopped paying attention to it. Good lord. And then the article's author calls this sad team of knockoff heroes 'Iconic'? Seriously? :laugh:
