Batman reboot coming after Dark Knight Rises

I mean, Batman's been exposed in so many forms of medium and I think people seem even more well informed of Batman's origins thanks to Nolan's films (Begins anyways). We know Commissioner Gordon, we all know he has a some form of kick-ass transportation, a utility belt, his own signal in the sky, etc etc.

Am I the only one who sees the irony of all the people here, who are united by their love for series that reboot themselves on yearly basis in some cases, are complaining about a reboot that will probably be released nearly a decade after the last reboot?

I have no qualms with the decision - Nolan's films are alright but they're a little too "realistic" (or whatever) for my tastes.

I don't mind, since all other DC heroes are boring as **** (well, except Green Lantern, I like him). I wouldn't mind the reboot focusing more on Batman as a detective, which I thought never got enough emphasis in the movies

I was ok with Begins for the most part. DK I just have no use for. I don't know, if you could somehow take the best aspects of Batman 89 with the best aspects of Begins and BTAS I think somewhere in that is the Batman I've wanted to see.

Alternatively, live action Brave and the Bold with special guest appearence by Aquaman for the story he calls "The Time I was in a Hollywood Movie with Batman!" :laugh:

No offense, but a lot of the the women you find attractive, I find repulsive, though I agree with you here. Take Lisa Sparxxx for example. But, hey, some guys like women with gorilla titties, pepperoni nipples, speedbag arm fat and cellulite the size of craters. To each their own.

Like I said, I do agree with you that Maggie Gyllenhaal is not much of a looker, but, she played the role much better than Katie, IMO.

This news was in my local newspaper today as well as some new Wolverine 2 news with the production getting fucked up because they are going to film in Japan and the tsunami hit and the actually producer quit.

They can just film it on sets. Hire Japanese American extras who are fluent in their language or import them. Seeing as they did use convincing sets for the Vatican and Egypt for Angels & Demons and Transformers ROTF, it would not be bad to go that route considering it is over there.

However , the Japanese do need an economic boost from the tsunami hit plus they could rewrite some parts of the script to accommodate modern headlines and news just so it can easily be worked around. How about they do half in Japan and half on sets? Sets can be where the actors/ film crew would not be able to go while the Japanese footage can be for the areas least affected that they seek .
