Batman Lego Game Coming

With the success of the Star Wars Lego games comes news that Batman is getting a Lego game.

The next licensed LEGO game from veteran UK developer, Traveller's Tales will be based on the massive DC Comics superhero, Batman, CVG can exclusively reveal today.

Just days prior to the release of the next entry in massively successful LEGO Star Wars series, CVG's investigative reports have learned that work has already begun on a franchise follow-up, staring the Caped Crusader in a block-busting adventure through a LEGO brick Gotham city.

No further details were offered from our sources, though we're sure that - considering how much fantastic fun the first two LEGO Star Wars games were - Batman's blocky-debut is certainly something to look forward to. While we would've probably opted for something more in the vein of LEGO Eastenders, the Dark Knight's deep universe and wide-array of characters and villains perfectly lends itself to the Lego spirit, and we're bursting to pilot a block-built Batmobile through the Gotham streets.

A Lego Star Trek could only mean one thing.

The Entire Armada of Starfleet, from beginning to end. Because the actual graphics take very little to produce, something like this on PS3, or XBOX 360, or the Wii, most likely wouldn't be a problem.

Each Series will have it's own 20-30 hour storyline, pushing out a complete 100-150 hours of storyline gameplay. Plus there should be some unlockables like Special Movie Missions, (Canon) Novel Missions, and as some cool unlockables maybe ship upgrades, and race storylines like, A particular story from the Klingon Ships view, or something...

Don't forget Multiplayer. now THAT would kick ass.. Picard... VS Kirk... LEGOTIZED!

Funny. Cus at work, I slipped out a "Star Trek Legos" on accident for Star Wars Legos II. I was shunned for mixing em up.

It's a shame though. Cus the Batman Lego game would prolly be fun, but suck anyway. You cant make a good batman game without starting from day one, to the current story, and even a few alternate futures.

WTF is this? A thread about Lego BATMAN (an even more awesome idea than Lego Star Wars) and people are talking about Star Trek? That's just not right.

Anyways, I can't wait for the release of this game. Is there anymore news about it anywhere? I hope they manage to fit Robin, Nightwing--the whole Bat-Family in it. No sense in trying to make it dark and only doing Batman, its Legos!

Too bad that BECAUSE it's legos, they prolly wont get into the most recent of the Bat-Stories.

the current BatGirl and Robin III would prolly not be the way they are now, but more or less, not exist?

This would prolly be the most early and understood incarnation. Batman. Batman and Robin. Batman Robin and Batgirl. Batman and Batgirl. Batman. Batman and Nightwing. in that kind of order.

But ****. Imagine if they allowed Extra Missions for things like.. oh i dunno..
